Galaxy S24 Ultra Review
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra arrives at a higher launch price compared to last year’s Ultra, and this difference may sting a bit. While the Galaxy S23 Ultra was already feature-packed, the Galaxy S24 Ultra doesn’t introduce any groundbreaking innovations—it simply refines existing aspects.
However, the true value lies in Samsung’s commitment to providing seven years of major Android and security updates. This extended long-term support was unprecedented just a year ago, surpassing Apple’s five-year support for its best Android phones.
While Samsung makes bold promises, only time will reveal if they can truly deliver. Apple has consistently fulfilled this long-term pledge across various iPhone models, but Google and Samsung have yet to do so.
Adding to the skepticism, buried within Samsung’s terms of service is a notice suggesting that the current AI features may only remain free for a limited duration. Although the implications remain unclear, it feels peculiar—almost as if Samsung is creating legal loopholes. Unlike Samsung, Apple doesn’t employ such tactics. Ultimately, only time will determine if Samsung upholds its commitments.
Would we recommend?
We recommend the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra due to its refined features and extended long-term support, although skepticism remains until we see it in action over time.
